FALL IN LOVE WITH SILKPEEL DERMALINFUSION
Transitioning your skin from warmer to cooler temps is easier than ever thanks to beauty hubs like Lapiel Laser Center. While folks line up in droves for a pumpkin spice latte, I’m busy booking my next appointment for one of their most coveted skincare treatments: SilkPeel Dermalinfusion.
The SilkPeel is a 3-in-1 advanced treatment that serves to exfoliate, extract and infuse the skin with serums based on your unique skin concerns. Thing is, most people don’t have a whole lot of time (or patience) to spend on their beauty regimen, so why not leave the heavy lifting to the experts?
My appointment was scheduled on a Saturday afternoon, which ideally, is most convenient for frequent travelers, busy moms and everybody else in between. There’s a consultation involved beforehand, which is always helpful if you’re a newbie to any noninvasive beauty treatment. Julie is the bomb. She’s easy to talk to, doesn’t try to sell you a bunch of products that you don’t need, and she walks you through each step of the peel so you know exactly what’s happening. Lapiel uses a variety of products from Eminence Organics, which in my opinion, is one of the best skincare brands on the market. The SilkPeel is customizable – and helps to address a variety of unique skincare concerns like hyperpigmentation, dehydration, hormonal breakouts, wrinkles and fine lines, and dull skin.
The peel feels a lot like a traditional microdermabrasion, but keep in mind that a microderm only removes a portion of the upper layer of the skin. The SilkPeels offers a much more sophisticated technique that deeps cleans the skin down to those pesky pores. Please allow me to elaborate even further: Imagine a mini vacuum cleaner made exclusively for your face. Now, imagine consistent suction in small strokes across your face and neck. This allows the diamond tip of the machine to not only remove the top layer of the skin, but it simultaneously injects topical solution into the skin based on your unique concern. Enter ridiculously hydrated, vibrant and rejuvenated skin.
The SilkPeel Dermalinfusion retails for $125, or you can purchase a package of 3 for $297. Appointments are flexible with both weekend and evening slots available on a first come first serve basis. When you call for your appointment, make sure you tell Ariana that I sent you, and your next pumpkin spice latte is on me.
